Breathe slow.
Return to yourself.

Soft Belly is a brief, evidence-rooted practice you can do anywhere — at home, at work, in a quiet minute you steal back from the day. No noisy buttons, no app asking for too much.

The practice

One breath at a time.

Breathe slowly in through the nose. Out through the mouth. Belly soft, relaxed. In your mind, repeat: "soft" on the inhale, "belly" on the exhale.

That is the whole practice. Three to five minutes. Once a day. It is enough.

Soft Belly is the signature concentrative meditation of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, developed by Dr. James S. Gordon. CMBM has trained clinicians and teachers since 1991 to deliver evidence-based care in communities affected by trauma. cmbm.org →

Who this is for

A busy life. Real pressure. A quiet need for something steady to return to.

Three to five minutes

For the discreet five-minute window between meetings, before sleep, after a difficult call. The kind of moment where you don't want a flashy interface.

No clinical framing

Built for people who carry stigma around mental health. There is no diagnosis here, no clinical framing, no pity. Just breath, attention, return.

Bilingual, RTL-first

First released in Arabic for our cohort in Gaza — full right-to-left, with English alongside. Translation done by people who use the app, not by a vendor.

Be among the first to try it.

The first release is close. We'll send one quiet invitation when it's ready. We won't share your email with anyone.

One email at launch. No newsletters. No trackers.
